Conapto announced a major expansion of its Stockholm 4 South data center, increasing its capacity with an additional 8 MW of power from energy company Ellevio. With this increase, the site will scale from 20 MW to 28 MW.

"Digitalization and AI are changing the way data is used around the world, and this expansion ensures our customers have the reliable and sustainable infrastructure to grow", said Håkan Björklund, CEO of Conapto. "Adding 8 MW at Stockholm 4 South is about more than capacity. It’s about ensuring resilience, efficiency and climate-smart operations for the future."

"Expanding the capacity of Conapto’s data center is not just a technical step; it’s a critical aspect of securing a sustainable future. The AI innovations and digital services shaping our lives depend on the electrified infrastructure that both Conapto and Ellevio deliver. This expansion marks a milestone in our shared mission", said Tomas Brunzell, Ellevio Asset Owner.

The new power capacity will be ready starting January 1, 2026.
