Microsoft earlier this month has started the construction of Phase 2 of its data center expansion in Køge, south of Copenhagen.
Microsoft said in a blog pots it had started excavation work and will subsequently commence construction of the datacenter. The data center is expected to be completed in April 2028. Details about the size and capacity have not been shared.
Microsoft is currently planning to launch Denmark East, a new datacenter region in Denmark this year, which will be housed in data centers across the country.
